Muff Branch Irish Farmers' Association
The Muff Irish Farmers' Association branch was established circa 50 years ago to stand up for local farmer’s rights and help them voice their opinions and be heard at government level.
The branch has approx. 80 members of all age groups but the increase in young members in the last few years has been notable.
We meet only once a year for our AGM usually in late November/early December. This takes place in Knowhead Pres. Church minor hall.
The AGM is an informative meeting with guest speakers invited to talk on issues relevant at the time. These might include vets, bank managers, farm consultants etc.
Members can also attend the Inishowen Executive meetings which are held quarterly, and also the County Executive meetings which are held monthly.
Current Chairman is Micky Allen.
